Un petit concert folk acoustique, pour accueillir les beaux jours, ça vous dit?

LNA vous invite à un concert privé d’Andrea Perdue et de Michael Wookey, pour le plus grand bonheur de vos petites oreilles!

« Je découvre ce soir les compositions que cette américaine, rencontrée il y a peu, Andrea Perdue, vient de m’envoyer, compositions aussi fragiles que l’oeuvre de l’épeire diadème, et tout aussi délicates. Ce fil qu’elle a tissé, qui flotte désormais dans mon appartement, est une invitation à s’enrouler dedans. On se laisse dévorer les ouïes par la voix de cette étrangère. Mais ni elle, ni moi, ne voulons abîmer ce monde fragile qu’elle tisse en ce moment, ni le froisser, ni le briser. On observe, et écoute, fascinés. Un autre fil tendu tremble sous ses doigts, sous ses chuchottements tactiles, et conjugué à son murmure, fait vibrer l’air. Un air dont on partagerait volontiers le parfum tous les dimanches matins du monde. »

At the age of 15, Michael Wookey was given a portable pump organ which belonged to his grandfather who was an organist during World War II. This instrument inspired Michael to write some songs and to start collecting obscure instruments.At the age of 20 , Michael recorded his first album entitled Dreams Of You.Now 26, Michael has recorded 3 albums. By using a portable studio, he has recorded in various sheds, basements and meat lockers. He now lives in the red light district of Paris. The French describe his music as folk baroque. »
